Isn't it funy that once you finally complete a project that's taken months to complete, you suddenly can finish all the rest? This is so me!
I promised myself for Christmas that I would finish the Noro scarf for my mum. It was supposed to be for Christmas last year, but with a new baby and a new business, it just wasn't happening. So, I finally finished it this year and it was given on Christmas morning!! Success!
So after tcompleting that scarf, I've been on a roll with all my incomplete projects. I finished Neave's vest. I used Lamb's pride wool, followed the pattern and used a US 9 needle. It fits perfectly for her age which is 18-24 months.
Emma has been asking and asking for me to knit her up some leg warmers so since the knitting energy is kicking I was actually able to grant her 2 warm leg warmers. I used the pattern from raverly. It was super quick and she hasn't taken them off since!!
So now what?
The projects that I'm working on now are:
a warm delicious alpaca scarf for Josef,
a rolled brim hat for Neave,
an Elf hat for Emma,
and a sweater for me! yeah!!
I've finally realized that cold weather IS good for something!
Happy Knitting!
Oh, you sound just like me! I have *those* projects that seem to stop everything. And then, the day comes when I just turn the tables, complete *that* project, and boom! I'm off on the rest and the plate is cleared. I'm nearly there. Just kinda slowed for the week and playing with the girls before I crank out two important new bears.
We miss y'all! :)
