We've been hiding out all week because of Hurricane Issac. Josef's mom came in for the week, she lives close to New Orleans, and the girls had a nice time hanging out with her.
I'm so glad that its over though. Hurricanes stress the heck out of me. Not knowing were it's headed, the anxiety you feel coming from the news ancors, and just the idea that you can't leave your home. The shut in feeling. Its' strange that shut in feeling. I'm home just about every day of the week and I enjoy being at home, yet when someone tells me I can't leave my house, then I get cabin fever and become very distracted and have a hard time focusing on my work. Must be that authority issue I have!!!
The girls were able to thankfully do something, besides run around in circles, thank goodness. E and N played dressup all morning on the day Issac came on land and then later on in the day they wanted to play monopoloy.
I made Spagetti Bolognaise and drank iced coffee while the rain lashed against the windows. It was cozy.
